Upper Broughton, Leics

We built this beautiful house in 2013.

Beresford House is situated in an exclusive position with enviable views over the surrounding countryside. This is a fine country home built in a traditional style but with modern day conveniences. Stone mullioned windows with leaded lights give this property a stunning front elevation. There is a natural clay tiled roof, bespoke wooden windows to the sides and rear, and beautiful bi-folding doors to the kitchen, snug and lounge that open out onto the garden.

Ground Floor

The hall has a wonderfully spacious galleried landing with a beautifully fitted contemporary walnut staircase. Leading from the hall is a generous bespoke kitchen, dining and living space: perfect for both family life and country entertaining. The rooms are light and enjoy wonderful views over the gardens and surrounding countryside.

A large utility/ laundry room leads off from the kitchen and access from the side of the property can be gained through this room. Great attention to detail has been given to modern comforts with under-floor heating on the ground floor and a security entry phone system.

Some of the lovely internal features include sandstone fireplaces to the lounge and snug. A generous study and a cloakroom complement well-balanced ground
floor accommodation.

First Floor

Rising from the top of the staircase there is a stunning master bedroom suite with bathroom, wet room and fitted dressing area. There is a second bedroom with en suite facilities. A luxury bathroom with a bath and wet room, together with a further two double bedrooms, completes the first floor accommodation

Garden & Grounds

Situated on Station Road on the edge of the village, the property is approached through electric metal gates. A gravel drive leads to the double detached garage with automatic doors. The beautiful landscaped gardens rise slightly from the road with a large terrace to the rear of the house which is south-facing and ideal for alfresco dining. There is an extensive lawned area with well stocked herbaceous borders, a delightful kitchen garden with greenhouse, potting shed and a separate store, and a stable that could be used for a pony.

Wonderful views of the Vale of Belvoir and into the valley can be enjoyed from every part of the garden.
